Maxi Cab Singapore
A maxi cab is a larger passenger van hired for a trip that a regular taxi cannot comfortably handle — too many people, too much luggage, or both. Falcon Transit runs a fleet of 7, 9 and 13 seater maxi cabs across Singapore, each with an experienced driver and enough room for a family's luggage, a corporate team's laptop bags, or an event delegation's equipment.
What counts as a maxi cab trip
Most of our bookings fall into a few recurring situations: a family of five or more flying out of Changi Airport with a full set of luggage, a company sending several staff or a visiting client from the airport to the office in one vehicle, a group of friends heading to Sentosa or a restaurant across the island, or an event organiser moving a delegation between a hotel and a conference venue. In each case, splitting the group across two or three taxis costs more and is harder to coordinate than booking one maxi cab.
Choosing the right size
Vehicle sizing comes down to passengers and luggage, not just headcount. A couple or small family with two or three suitcases usually fits comfortably in the 7 seater. A family of six to nine, or a corporate pickup with business luggage, is better matched to the 9 seater's extra load space. Groups of ten or more — wedding parties, school outings, event delegations — need the 13 seater to travel together in one vehicle. If you are unsure, tell us your passenger and luggage count in the booking or quote form and we will recommend a size rather than leave you to guess.

Where maxi cabs are used most
Airport transfers to and from Changi's four terminals and Jewel Changi Airport make up the largest share of our maxi cab bookings, followed by corporate transport for companies in the CBD and one-north, group outings to Sentosa and other attractions, and event or wedding transport moving a whole party in one trip. Every trip type uses the same fleet and the same booking flow, so the process is identical whether you are booking a single airport run or a recurring corporate account.
How booking works
Submit the booking or quote form with your pickup, destination, date, time, passenger count and luggage, choosing a specific seater size or leaving it to us to recommend. We confirm the vehicle, driver and pickup time by WhatsApp or email, usually well ahead of your trip, with no online payment required at this stage.
