How to Book a Maxi Cab in Singapore: A Practical Guide

31 July 2026

Booking a maxi cab in Singapore is straightforward once you know what information to have ready and how the vehicle sizes differ. This guide walks through the process from choosing a vehicle to getting your booking confirmed.

Start with your passenger and luggage count

The single biggest factor in choosing a vehicle is how many people are travelling and how much luggage is coming with them. A 7 seater maxi cab comfortably fits a family of four with check-in luggage, or a small group with light bags. A 9 seater is the better fit once you are travelling with six or more people, or when luggage volume is higher than usual — it is our most booked vehicle for corporate transport Singapore trips and medium-sized families. A 13 seater is built for larger groups: wedding parties, school outings, or event delegations that would otherwise need two or three separate cars.

If you are not sure which size fits your trip, just tell us your passenger and luggage numbers when you submit a quote request and we will recommend a vehicle.

Airport transfers need a few extra details

For a Changi Airport maxi cab booking, have your flight number ready, whether you are arriving or departing, which terminal (Terminal 1, 2, 3, 4, or a Jewel Changi Airport connection), and your flight's scheduled date and time. We track the flight number so a delayed arrival does not leave transport waiting for nothing, and for departures we calculate a pickup time that allows for traffic and check-in, not just a straight-line drive to the airport.

What the booking form asks for

Whether you use Book Now or Get a Quote, the form asks for the same core details: your name, mobile number, email and company (if relevant), pickup and destination addresses, date and time, number of passengers and luggage, and your trip type — airport transfer, point-to-point, round trip, hourly charter, corporate, event or other. If your trip type is an airport transfer, additional fields appear for flight details. You can also flag a child seat, wheelchair access, or any special requests, and add up to five additional stops if your trip involves more than one pickup or drop-off point.

What happens after you submit

Submitting the form does not immediately confirm a fare — a member of our team reviews the details and replies by WhatsApp or email with the assigned vehicle, driver contact, pickup time and price. There is no online payment at the point of booking; payment is arranged directly with you once everything is confirmed. If anything about your trip changes afterwards — a new flight time, an extra passenger, a different destination — contact us as early as possible so we can adjust the booking.

Group, corporate and event bookings

For a group trip, decide on a single pickup point where possible, or list the extra stops needed to collect everyone. For corporate transport, add your company name to the booking and mention if you would like to set up a corporate account for consolidated invoicing — our accounts team follows up separately to arrange this rather than through the public form. For event transport spanning multiple days, such as a conference shuttle between a hotel and a venue like Suntec or Marina Bay Sands, email us directly with the full schedule so we can plan vehicle and driver rosters in advance.

A few tips for a smoother trip

Book as early as you can, particularly for early-morning departures or peak travel periods. Double-check your passenger and luggage count before submitting, since an underestimate on the day can mean a vehicle is too small for everyone to travel comfortably. And if your trip has any unusual requirement — oversized luggage, a wheelchair, a stop that is not on your usual route — mention it upfront so we can plan for it rather than adjust on the day.
